Saturn 12 moons plus

2005/06/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

In the environment of Saturn have been found twelve more satellites, so there are 46 moons of the planet in ring. The newly discovered are small (3-7 km) and turn relatively far from Saturn. This has not changed the ranking of the satellites of our solar system, since Jupiter follows first with 63 satellites, Saturn with the second with 46 and, later, Uranus and Neptune with 27 and 13 respectively.
