The ozone layer hole disappears by 2040

A group of Japanese scientists has developed a new model of ozone prediction.

In addition to the atmospheric currents of air and turbulence, the concentration of carbon dioxide and the temperature of the sea surface in the construction of the new model has been taken into account. According to scientists, the Montreal protocol signed in 1987 has significantly reduced chlorine and bromine emissions to the atmosphere and, if followed, by 2040 there will be no gaps in the ozone layer.

However, the Japanese have recognized that their own is nothing more than a model and that many similar models must be compared to predict exactly what will happen.
