Where will the LSST telescope be placed in Chile or Mexico? That is the question and both would want them to be the elect. And the LSST telescope is not any. The telescope is able to capture images of the entire visible sky for three nights in the wavelength range ranging from ultraviolet light to near-infrared.
In Chile there are two notable viewpoints that house important telescopes such as Gemini and SOAR in one and Magella in the other. The Mexican is less known, but is more solitary than the rest and is not affected by urban light. As for the climatic factors that influence the study of the stars, both are appropriate. Therefore, the decision will also have to see other agents. Soon we will know where they will place it.
