The cooperative EMC 2 of the French territory of Mosa has investigated for four years to remove paper paste from cereal straw. The research has been carried out in the laboratory of the society SAF-ISIS in Soustons Landeta, although here the paper paste is extracted from pine logs.

In the procedure to be used in the territory of Mosa a very high pressure steam furnace will be used. The straw is thus distributed in the fibers and the resulting paper paste has excellent mechanical characteristics. Together with the paper pulp factory, it is intended to create a new one to manufacture cardboard.
