Entity: CFM (Materials-Physics Center) and Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC).

Duration of meetings: 2 hours.

Places: CFM and DIPC.

Description: The Centre for Materials Physics (CFM, CSIC-UPV/EHU) and the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) launch annual visits to Guipuzcoa schools. There are 14 visits that receive about 500 students.

Strengths:

• Know the technical and personal foundations of the best research centers worldwide.
• Make cultural diversity visible and show that current science is based on collaboration between experts from around the world.
• Break racial, gender and linguistic stereotypes.
• Give visibility to women, although currently the proportion of gender is not balanced.
• Unique experience for young people.
