ANDÉN.

More than a year later, NASA launched the HESSI satellite in February. HESSI will record solar eruptions for the first time. Thanks to special video cameras, the satellite can make color X-ray videos.

NASA wanted to space the satellite 18 months ago, at the maximum of the 11-year cycle of solar activity, but due to technical problems, it could not be launched until February. However, scientists are satisfied because the Sun is still in a highly active situation. This will also record the most violent solar eruptions. The HESSI mission will last for two years and is estimated to attend about 1,000 eruptions.
