At first also stars in pairs

Some of the first stars to emerge in the universe appear to be binary star systems, researchers at Stanford University in the United States and Michigan National University have concluded.

They have simulated the supposed conditions that existed in the universe at the time of its creation and have studied the evolution of the gas clouds in that universe, that is, the background of the stars. Previous simulations indicated that in the early stages of development the stars of the universe were formed individually, with the collapse of the initial gas clouds.

However, new research suggests that a single gas cloud could form two-star systems. In the illustration of the figure you can see two cores forming a star in a gas cloud.
