A European furniture manufacturer proposes that from now on the furniture is made with used packaging. First of all, they want to use milk packaging as raw material (type “tetrabrik”).

To obtain panels for the manufacture of furniture it is necessary to carry out a process of three stages. Once collected the milk packaging is crushed, heated and compressed without adding any products. The plastic located on the wall of the packaging works like glue. Thus, agglomerate boards are obtained which on the one hand are not burned (class 2) and on the other are impermeable. Some offices and banks are already supplying this type of furniture.
