Greater noise and vibrations of washing machines during centrifugation. These vibrations are due to the combination of different types of clothing and the irregular placement of the same inside the drum. The greater the imbalance, the more noise and movement the washing machine will be removed during the centrifuge.
Despite the numerous attempts made to resolve this imbalance, so far, the problem has not been fully avoided. Now, Fagor Appliances has taken a big step in this field, achieving a better detection of this imbalance.
For this purpose, it has developed the Advanced Balance System or, in short, the ABS system, which electronically controls centrifugation.
The washers with ABS manage to distribute and balance clothes inside the drum. Unlike washers without ABS, the washing machine with ABS takes into account the exact amount of introduced clothes. Until the clothes are well separated inside the drum, the washing machine does not start to centrifuge. In this way, if the washing machine detects an imbalance, it will turn the drum to shake the clothes and distribute it better.
So far the taquodinamo, that is, the device that measures the speed of the drum detected the imbalance by the signal provided, but this system is not effective. The taquodinamo does not detect the clothes that accumulate in the middle of the drum. For this reason, they have introduced an algorithm that indicates the amount of clothes inside the drum in the control carried by the washing machine.
A specific centrifugal profile allows the ABS system to know the amount of clothes inside the drum. In this way, we also take into account the inertia of this clothing that is in the center to later detect the imbalance. In this way, in the washers with ABS system the vibrations and noise are reduced, in addition a greater durability of the washing machine is achieved.
