The Catchword program is a help program that Logitech Scanman manual scanners needed. Catchword is a smart software specialized in optical character reading.

You can read 2,000 characters per minute and you can read any type of character after a brief learning phase. This is a good program to pass any printed document to the PC text processor.

The interface of this program allows the mouse and works through the window menus. This configuration allows to simultaneously select several parameters, the resolution of the text (between 200 and 400 points) and the language (Spanish, English, French, German, etc.) for example.

Catchword 1.1 also supports characters read by other readers or scanners by importing TIFF files.
