The U.S. Navy organization will have to face in the coming months the issue raised by an environmental group. Pilot practices are being carried out in a desert where a strange type of antelope lives that is about to disappear and according to environmentalists, this activity endangers the life of animals.

In the Arizona Sonoran desert live 100 pronghorn antelopes and there are another 300 of this type in Mexico. The Ihaz Defensers of Wildlife team tried to stop the explosions of the explosives that are carried out in Sonora, but the Army did its usual exercises. Environmentalists argue that sound stresses and terrorizes animals and that deer, when escaping, are separated from their mothers.

In late 1994, spoons were installed at 22 pronghorn antelopes, of which only eight live today.
