The sound of nanogitarra

A group of Cornell Nanofabrication Facility from the United States, using the laser, has managed to touch the nanogitarra. The sound of the guitar has gone out to 40 megahertz, 17 octave above conventional guitars.

Three years ago, Cornell's engineers managed to make nanogar and surprised all the experts in the matter, since they believed that the device was capable of emitting vibrations. But they made no noise and received it in the media: "The guitar has a length of 10 microns and each of the six strings has a thickness of 100 atoms. No one can play that guitar, nor can you see it at first sight. It can only be seen with electronic microscopes capable of making bars".

The guitar could not be seen, much less, but it showed that the man had opened the way to build very small machines. Three years later, from a single silicon crystal, researchers have improved the guitar and found a system of playing, laser beams. The guitar is not very useful, it can remain in a mere anecdote, but besides demonstrating the ability to manufacture small machines, it can be concluded that it is also possible to use these machines.
